Department of is established in 1951 course are tought at+ 2 level with the aim do sensitize students of rural and urban areas towards learning biology which is major basic science with lot of scope in medical, paramedical, in research and development. For this department is taking awareness programmers.

Considering the wide scope in Biology Department is taking active efforts by organizing extra lectures, tours and CET preparations as well as other applied syllabus according to syllabus.
