Hindi is considered as our national language. The language is a very expressive. Poetry and Songs are one of its major forms. In poetry and songs, language can convey emotions using simple and gentle words. It can used to exact rational reasoning. Hindi belongs to the Indian group of Indo - Iranian sub - family of the Indo-European family. It is our official language. It is written in Devanagari script. More than 180 million people in India regard Hindi as their mother tongue. Another 300 million use it as second language. Outside India, Hindi speakers are 100,000 in USA. Shri. N. C. Jadhav & P. V. Dhere both are Hindi Teachers in G.K.G. College, Kolhapur. From last 33 years Jadhav N.C. has been teaching Hindi to Arts, Commerce and Science faculty for 11th and 12th STD. He is performing important role as supervisor since 1 August, 2007 in junior sect. Our college provides Hindi merit scholarship to Hindi Pradesh students of central Government India.
