Junior college level ‘Association of Economics Teacher’s is started in 1999 in New College, Kolhapur. Founder members are Prof. R.N.Patil, Prof. V.V.Bachute, Prof. M.S.Yadav, Prof. B.M.Chavan, Prof. V.B.Gidde, Prof.Sou.A.B.Shinde etc.

Association organize Annual Conference in Kolhapur and Kokan divisional board. Membership is given to both divisional board Economics teachers. Association has played vital role for achieve learning and skill development of Economics subject. They gives better relationship between student-teacher human being.
