The department plans academic matters in the beginning of the academic year. The head of the department calls meeting of the departmental staff and discuss different subjects related to academic planning. Following aspects are discussed in these meetings.

a) Preparation of year plan.

b) Teaching: Preparing teaching plan, discussion about the syllabus etc.

c) Tests: Conducting tests for the students, content of test, first term examination etc.

d) Syllabus completion: At the end of first term and at the end of the year, syllabus completion report is submitted to the principal of the  college.
