The Department of Mathematics was established in 1958 with pre-degree science class. Mathematics has been taught as principal subject but not at the degree level.

The number of past student of our department is about 600. Many of who have settled in corporate and private services as teacher, industrialist, self-employees, government service, defense service, hardware and software engineers etc.

The staff members have been continuously encouraging the students in order to give better knowledge and use of it’s in their future life. The staff members as a team have done lot far the department and wish the flourish of the department in future.
